Today, we’re open-sourcing the draft specification for DESIGN.md, so it can be used across any tool or platform. We’re also adding new capabilities. DESIGN.md lets you easily export and import your design rules from project to project. Instead of guessing intent, agents know exactly what a color is for and can even validate their choices against WCAG accessibility rules. Watch David East break down this shared visual language in action👇. New capabilities and links in 🧵

Data on 267k Product Hunt launches revealed AI launches went from 5% pre-ChatGPT to 40% now. But here's the kicker: non-AI launches didn't collapse. They grew 139% year-over-year. Total launch volume nearly doubled. More AI products AND more traditional software. Software has been commoditized and the market is flooding.

The form builder space in 2026: Everyone can make forms. AI or drag-and-drop. ✅ Everyone can brand them. Colors, fonts, logos. ✅ Everyone claims to be affordable. 🤷 The real question: Why are you still paying $25-50 /month for unlimited responses? FormFlux: $19/month or $99 lifetime. What would make you switch?

Open-source models now trail frontier models by only 3 months on average. The moment something becomes possible, it's commoditized. This means frontier AI companies will always be chasing a shrinking window. No time to build a moat before the next wave of open models catches up.

We made one part of software development nearly instant. But that just reveals how much of the work was never about typing code. The bottleneck has moved. It’s now in understanding what to build, why systems fail in production, and navigating organizational complexity. Speed up 90% of a process by 100x and you’ve only doubled overall speed. The remaining 10% becomes everything.

Why we have lifetime pricing: 1. No VC pressure to chase growth metrics 2. People hate subscription fatigue 3. If we build something great, you should own that value Plus: it makes us focus on features people need. Not features that justify another subscription.
