The Let's Build Ignite January Series just wrapped up, and it served as a powerful new starting point for our community to transition from enthusiasts to active builders. Hosted by our moderator @Preshys_pen the session set the stage for a data-driven, sustainable LB DAO ecosystem. @alaboExcel (Co-founder) took us down memory lane, highlighting a massive year of growth: - Academy Launch: 100 signups for the "Web3 for Everyone" course. - Physical Impact: Over 410 attendees across Port Harcourt & Uyo meetups. - On-Chain Activity: 100 transactions and wallet setups for newbies. - Partnerships: Successful Roku Campus Tour across major universities. And honestly, these numbers aren't just stats, they represent real people stepping into Web3 for the first time, which is exactly what makes them significant. @greatAdams01 (Founder, LB Labs) then took the stage and broke down our three-layer approach to solving fragmented data and funding in emerging markets: 1. Academy: The foundation for onboarding, where builders start their journey. 2. Alliance: A framework for partnership and data sharing, connecting communities and resources. 3. Intelligence: A data analysis platform for actionable on-chain insights, turning data into decisions. Together, these three layers create a self-sustaining ecosystem built not on hype, but on structure and substance. He also made it clear that Let's Build Academy runs on Proof of Work, not just certificates, what you earn here reflects what you actually build. - AI-Assisted: Self-learning tracks tailored for developers, founders, and designers, learn at your pace, grow at your speed. - Decacorn Bootcamp: Coming in December, this flagship hybrid event will turn contributors into builders with potential for funding. We then heard from the communities shaping the ecosystem alongside LB DAO, and it was genuinely exciting to see how diverse yet aligned our partners are: - (@BorderlessDev & @thesollnetwork_) : Spoke about their focus on incubation through Builders OP and fostering "localism" to empower builders, proving that innovation thrives when communities work together. - (@RaphinaAi) : Shared their vision as a blockchain-health platform using AI to deliver accurate medical interventions while keeping user data secure, redefining what's possible at the intersection of health and Web3. - (@WakaSocial_AI & @thesandboxafric) : Rounded things off by introducing practical tools solving real problems. Waka AI filters group chat noise and airdrop spam, while Sandbox opens the door to no-code metaverse gaming. Each partner represents a different frontier, and together we're proving that Web3 innovation isn't limited to one sector. The evening wrapped up with a clear message from @greatAdams01 : Build, Connect, and Collaborate. He reminded us that the OFO token will represent authority and governance in our DAO—giving contributors a real stake in the decisions that shape our future. So, your first step?
