First garden work day of the year in the books! Blown away by the community support and the progress that was made! @edensbass @Krystal09889948 @rhonore36 @HISDChoice
‘Tis the season “Day 2” I 💯 believe that you should workout with your family if possible to set in those healthy habits. If you only watch this video to see Melia’s perfect 👌🏾 form it will be worth it! Lol #FitLeaders#FaithBody Proverbs 22:6
A special thanks to @YWCPAHISD and @MLelandPrep for visiting our campus and speaking to our 5th graders about Middle School Magnet Programs . @ESO3_HISD @HISDChoice @HoustonISD
Missed my workout yesterday so I mashed up my calisthenics with single bell exercises. 5 rounds of 10 of each of the 6 exercises in the video. Added these new halo lunges to the mix! #FitLeaders#FaithBody
The Community Garden is about so much more than just the plants growing there!

So I decided I wanted to come up with some motivational lyrics to a popular song like by artist Travis Scott(H-Town🤘🏻) to get my @CorneliusElem 5th graders hyped up about their three STAAR tests this week! The kiddos had a blast singing & creating our STAAR HYPE Song music video👏🏻
HUGE shout-out to all of our @CorneliusElem helpers and @solveitinthird student council who came out to the garden to help clean up and revitalize our garden on this first Saturday of Spring Break! The weather was beautiful and now so is our #garden! 🌼🌷 @UrbanHarvest
Such a wonderful morning watching our students faces while receiving 📚, covid-19 essentials and a small gift. Our hearts are full of happiness, we wish we could go back soon. Thank you @DonorsChoose for making it possible. @se_si_lia@LawElementary@MrDerrickEstes
A HUGE THANK YOU to @itsKEOnotKAO at Under The Mango Tree for the laptop donations! We provided them to our 3rd grade students who needed technology in @letyluck23 class. 🙏🏾🙌🏾 #advocatesforallstudents
Thank you to both schools, their students, and staff for having us, and thank you to Lety Rodriguez and Iveth Reyes for organizing!
Check out those amazing signs the kids made for us!😍🥰Happy Holidays y’all!
For some of the kids, it was their first concert. For others, it was their first time being given a chance to perform as we let them all join us in stage. We quickly found that 300 kids under the age of 10 on one stage is basically a punk rock show. 😅
Braeburn hasn’t had a Christmas program since Hurricane Harvey, and they’ve been in a temporary school ever since the storm. We are so happy to have brought it back for them because public school music programs are how many of us got our start.
This week was a special one for us. Yesterday, we visited the students at James H. Law Elementary School in Sunnyside, and earlier today, we spent time with the kids Braeburn Elementary School in Gulfton.
