"It was beneficial that I didn't have extensive time to dwell on it, yet I wasn't overly anxious, to be candid. My primary objective was to participate and demonstrate my capabilities. Ultimately, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience."
The young athlete continued, "I was at home when I received a call from John McDermott, FA Director of Football, who inquired about my well-being and extended an invitation to join the training squad in Miami to support the pre-camp activities.
"I readily accepted, stating, 'Yes, absolutely.' I approached this opportunity with an open mind, as one would never decline the chance to train with a World Cup squad, regardless of age or experience.
"I understood my role was to assist the other players in their training while also showcasing my own abilities, and it has been a remarkable experience.
"On the field, one is training with the world's elite players, fostering continuous learning and providing insight into their exceptional skill and caliber.
"Possession of the ball demonstrates the sharpness and strategic understanding of each player, highlighting their seamless collaboration and synergy.
"Off the field, the team exhibits remarkable humility and a grounded demeanor. The atmosphere is consistently pleasant, relaxed, and free from judgment....
"It is often overlooked that footballers are, at their core, ordinary individuals. The team fosters excellent interpersonal dynamics, characterized by kindness and camaraderie."
