Find me on BlueSky!LGC was once a msg board for Canes fans- Pre-Twitter & Social Media, message board is no longer, but OG Caniac vibes remain. call me Patty.
Waking up in Vegas, and all I can think is, “Man, they really did it.”
So happy for the guys.
So happy for the staff.
So happy for the fans who stuck with it through the trying years.
Unreal.
In December of 2011, I attended my first Canes game with Alex's family. From then on, I was absolutely hooked. I watched this team through the dark days, relocation rumors, and abusive coach. I then got to experience the rebuild & witness the culture cultivated by Rod Brind'Amour
Right after the win, the Svechnikov family gathered in full force so that this moment would stay in their family's memory. They connected with their father via video call and those screams of joy say it all (Russian speech translation)
What a dream come true to be able to cover a Stanley Cup championship. Lots of work, long nights, travel and whatnot, but it's also been a ton of fun covering this team for the past seven years.
Thanks for reading, interacting and following along. Still plenty more to come!

Because of the 5 p.m. local start, the #Canes are not holding a morning skate ahead of tonight's Game 6.
Rod Brind'Amour will take questions from the media around 2:15 p.m. PT.
I really reccommend meeting your online friends. Everyone (y’all???) treated me like family. Can’t wait to be back 🫶
If we got a pic together and you havenMt sent it yet — please do. Also, big shoutout to everyone who came up and asked “are you the fan from Ottawa?” 🫡
