Some American made steel studs for a framing project in Houston This contractor uses our studs because they come pre-made to the exact length needed. We saved his crew 2 days of cutting down studs on the jobsite

Pretty fun project - sprayed a house from the outside. Owner was having new siding put on, so he had us spray foam just before they installed it. Built a plastic bubble to prevent overspray from covering everything. Worked flawlessly! (Don’t worry, we evened the foam out)

These are just down the street from me. While they don’t look the most appealing, I can see why there would be a market for something like this. But $233/sq is insane!?
"Tiny homes" continue to grow in popularity. These are selling for around $140,000 for just over 600 square feet in Texas.

Who would have thought that one of the strongest economies in the U.S. had 0 grill cleaning companies (until now)? DFW only has 1 per 1 million residents. Here’s the profit playbook:
33 HOT leads in the past weeks. No GMB, no ads. All inbound through our site. People begging us to come out. Just a (crappy) landing page and some local service pages. Being the only person offering grill cleaning in NW Arkansas is paying off. Actually cleaning grills does suck though. This is mainly a funnel for power washing and other services Thanks for the idea, @mhp_guy

Here just start a spray foam company - all your clothes get this super trendy style
Carhartt’s street wear brand sells their $25 Carhartt shirts (which I love) for $78. They just add a few flecks of paint. Capitalism is beautiful.

Worst part of Sprayfoam? The prep and cleanup work… The spraying was only about 40% of total job time But we knocked out this shop spray today. For North Dallas, these are some of the best jobsite views possible! Beautiful property

One time I saved ~$2500 building my own office built-in cabinets from scratch (I had never built a cabinet before). It only cost me 4 weekends, many week nights, my back, and my will to live. But it turned out great!

Plus a new AC unit If you don’t keep your B Side foam below 84 degrees, you risk it blowing up 😬 This should keep the foam cool, and we’ll run the hose through a doggy door on the side
Sprayfoam rig got some much needed upgrades Doubled the size of the axles. Much much bigger tires Now we can haul more sets of foam to the job AND it doesn’t feel like she’s going to bounce off the road when I hit a bump Before vs after

The power of X, baby! I had an idea yesterday about a “mini” pool company for people with small yards like mine. Thought surely someone on X is doing this. Turns out, Keyan is the man! He’s building a company that productizes mini pools in NW Arkansas (my hometown - lfg) Super cool biz, can’t wait to see what all they do. (Also, the X algo ate it up and pushed our posts to 500k views)
This is my next big move in my business. I’ve been working on the back end for months and it’s getting close to ready to push marketing. Compact pools for the average backyard. High quality, easy to maintain pools that are a main feature of your outdoor living but not a yard consuming headache. There are already plenty of people doing this like Texas MiniPools, Texas Tiny Pools and more. Now I am bringing it to my market soon using my years of concrete and pool building experience to create an ultra refined offering. My plan is to build these pools extremely efficiently, tracking every part and every step and task completed to continuously refine the process. In the beginning my offer will be ~60 days to be safe, with the goal to have a 30 day completion time from permit approval to finished transformation. Taking my knowledge from larger pools that I’ve build, the pools will be constructed using an insulated concrete construction with heat/chill included to give you what I think of as a three season pool, maximizing the time the pool can be enjoyed by your family. Super excited to start marketing this and getting calls from people that want to me to come upgrade their space! (drafted options sheet, 2 x rendered designs, large flagship pool i built last year)
