📣 We achieved remarkable success in 2023, setting a new record with 715 organ transplants! This includes 198 liver transplants, 217 lung transplants, 37 pancreas transplants, 43 heart transplants, 194 kidney transplants, 22 islet transplants, and 4 liver-kidney transplants. @UHN
The Toronto Lung Transplant Program has just completed 213 lung transplants in 2023. We broke our own world record for number of transplants in a single year (212 in 2019). I’m sure 2024 will be another great year! @UHN@UHNTransplant@UHN_Surgery@TrilliumGift@ISHLT@AATSHQ
