Text reads: In light of recent and deeply troubling revelations concerning X’s Grok AI - specifically its use in generating non-consensual, sexualised deepfakes and disturbing content involving minors - we have decided that continued presence on the platform would undermine the values and safety commitments at the heart of our library. The platform’s persistent failure to curb the spread of harmful and exploitative content constitutes an ethical breach and is incompatible with our values. ATU Library will disengage from the X platform with immediate effect. All official communications will continue via our website and other social media channels. We ask all our followers on X to join us on Bluesky, Facebook, or Instagram.

Over the years our #ATULibrary @ATU_GalwayCity #DaffodilDay fundraising efforts have made a real difference in the lives of cancer patients. Since we began in 2019 (pause in 2020 with COVID), we have raised a total of €14,296 for the @IrishCancerSoc. Go raibh mile maith agaibh🙌
