The only point of discipline here is to never question authority. They start from school by flogging us into submission, and that submission follows you into adulthood till you eventually become the adult that can’t even demand better governance in a country where you pay taxes.
Nigerians love to talk down on Black Americans and how stubborn they are, but if we had half the mind they had in fighting racism in their country, we’d be in a better place.

As someone who went to boarding school with kids who were sent to Nigeria because they were “stubborn” I’ll tell you for free it’s a waste of time, and your kids might actually come back worse.
Also, this country doesn’t do anything aside from producing docile young adults who can’t stand up for themselves or think critically.

This World Cup is already exposing the western hypocrisy.
First there were reports of shootings near the English camp and now their equipment has been stolen.
Yet the same people who made a big deal about Qatar not allowing alcohol in stadiums haven’t said a single word about any of this.
They want to fly halfway across the world and lecture other countries on how to run things, but stay silent when it’s a Western country dealing with serious safety concerns.

England’s team equipment has been stolen including players’ boots/shoes, training gear, coaching staff equipment, balls and uniforms.
The England camp is now working with police to find the stolen items or replace them quickly so the team can train as planned. 😓
