The Trump Administration's plan to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research is senseless and dangerous.
It would weaken weather forecasting, climate research, and the science that keeps people safe. AGU urges the Administration to abandon this plan and protect NCAR — and all scientific institutions the public depends on.
