🚨BREAKING: Irish nationalist groups say they will travel up and stand with British unionists in Belfast at 7pm tonight
The UK & Ireland says enough is enough!
Thank you for all of the Happy Birthday wishes and heartfelt goodwill! It means a lot and I hope to continue serving a greater cause for many more revolutions around the sun!!Onward and upward and best wishes to all of you as well!
Today is a special day.
When asked for my birth date, I chuckle and say 1-20-30.
Now, after circling the sun for 90 years, today is 1-2020. I came into this world in NJ on 1-20-30, and my mother was Marion Moon Aldrin and my father Edwin Aldrin.
Here’s to 1-2025!
I know the sky is not the limit, because there are footprints on the Moon—and I made some of them! So don’t allow anyone to denigrate or inhibit your lofty aspirations. Your dream can take you might higher and much farther than anyone ever thought possible! #MondayMotivation
I was cynical about upgrading my kitchen blender from the one I have had since the 1980's... but it made the butternut squash soup in almost zero time...
Start your week with some new photos from Artemis II!
Though our journey around the Moon has ended, we're still retrieving plenty of new images. Keep an eye on our Artemis II multimedia gallery for image highlights from the mission: go.nasa.gov/4usiN8W

Spudnik-1, an orbiting potato on @Space_Station!
I flew potatoes on Expedition 72 for my space garden, an activity I did in my off-duty time. This is an early purple potato, complete with spot of hook Velcro to anchor it in my improvised grow light terrarium.
Potatoes are one of the most efficient plants based on edible nutrition to total plant mass (including roots). Recognized by Andy Weir in his book/movie "The Martian," potatoes will have a place in future exploration of space. So I thought it good to get started now!
Earthshine.
Artemis II astronaut Christina Koch captured this video of Earth outside the windows of the Orion spacecraft during the second flight day of the mission. Orion was roughly 33,800 miles (54,500 km) away from Earth when @Astro_Christina took this video.
Etching and aquatint, 'Rebirth'. Be a child again, go to space, come back safely, feel wonderment. This etching will be at the London Original Print Fair in some weeks time... I'm always thinking of space and @NASA <3
Launching on April 1st meant I got back in time to celebrate my 23rd wedding anniversary with Catherine today! Grateful to be able to share this zero g photo of my wedding ring in person over dinner tonight… as well as some cuddle time on Earth.

Introducing Riders 2 The Dark!
Blue Ghost Mission 2 is going where no American mission has landed before - the far side of the Moon. What we discover with @NASA and our commercial customers will light the way to a sustained presence on the Moon and beyond.
We’ll see y’all there! fireflyspace.com/missions/bl…
