I was so lucky to call #Bearcats games on @FOX19 or @700wlw for nine years during the Bob Huggins era. During that time, UC won 78% of its games, went to the NCAA Tournament every year, and was ranked in the Top 5 four times. Those are staggering numbers for not only one of the best coaches in Cincinnati history, but one of the best in basketball history. Congratulations Huggs! See you in October 🔴⚫️🏀

Totally agree.
I'm begging.....absolutely begging the #Bengals to change their plan for the Ring of Honor. Pleeeeeeeease expand this next class to include ALL seven remaining original nominees. Call it the Super 7 Class. Nobody that knows anything about the history of the franchise would dispute the Ring of Honor resume of ANY of the seven: Reggie Williams, Jim Breech. Max Montoya, James Brooks, Cris Collinsworth, David Fulcher, Bob Trumpy. They are all deserving. The six living nominees are all at least 61 years old. Three of them are at least 70: Reggie Williams 71, Jim Breech 70, Max Montoya 70, James Brooks 67, Cris Collinsworth 67, David Fulcher 61. How much longer do they have to wait? What’s the point in making them wait? Fulcher and Breech are the most recent original nominees to play for the Bengals. That was over three decades ago, in 1992! Why risk the passing of another, who won't get to experience the love, admiration and appreciation from the fans? It's a damn shame that Ken Riley passed away without feeling that moment. It's tragic that 80-year old Bob Trumpy passed away in November, without getting that moment. There are currently 12 members of the Ring of Honor. Who gets upset if it expands to 19 this season? Nobody. I welcomed the introduction of the Ring of Honor concept. But the idea was flawed from jump. It immediately created a backlog. It's only going to get worse. The class size is being reduced to one candidate starting in 2027. The additions of guys like AJ Green, Andrew Whitworth and Geno Atkins to the ballot will only create a bigger and longer backup. An organization should always be looking to widen the spotlight on their greatest players. Shine it proudly on the guys that helped build the franchise. Celebrate them. Embrace them. Love them. Let the fans hug them! Don't make your greats wait, and pay, because the initial process was flawed. And while I'm at it....how can the Ring of Honor not include the likes of Sam Wyche, Forrest Gregg, original radio voice Phil Samp, the original Bengals, Bob Johnson, longtime assistants like Jim Anderson, Jim McNally, and others? What the Bengals are doing to the seven remaining nominees is just wrong. The Bengals need to make this right. Now. Before it's too late.

I’ve said from the beginning “@Bengals should have been putting in 3-5 guys a year in those first 2 -3 classes. If there were 3 more guys included in the class of Issac Curtis and myself I would have still enjoyed the honor and ceremony. We are so many years behind . The guys from the 70’s and 80’s deserve their recognition before leaving this earth. They should’ve been 1st! We have so many great players in team history picking 2 then next year 1. We gonna be like The Hall of Fame! 😂 just my 2 cents #Whodey
