OH MY GOODNESS! This book is pure picture book perfection.
Every single beat of it is pristinely, precisely done. It moves effortlessly between time periods and generations. It has beautiful, memorable language. It has love. It has lyricism. It made me feel things.
It’s definitely a picture book I want to hug.
Way to go @lislhd and David Soman and @HarperChildrens. I am so impressed!
