Going to the cinema is so good for my mental health. It takes me out of my head and can alter my mood and just reminds me that life is wonderful, because what can be better than sitting in the dark watching an amazing film on a beautiful big screen? 🥰

I’m seeing Gentleman Prefer Blondes tonight at @BFI as part of their Marilyn Monroe season. I’ve actually never seen it, so it’s another one off my very long watchlist!

Every video I see of a Bad Bunny concert he’s either dressed in an immaculate suit or like he’s just popping down to the shop to get milk

Now that I can finally say what I thought of The Death of Robin Hood, I think I’ll just let other people enjoy it. Just corner me at the bar after a few drinks and I’ll present my dissertation.

I have to say how much I loved The Sheep Detectives. What a wonderful movie! It felt like it was made with such care, from the cast to the direction to the incredibly well written script. It was funny, heartfelt and beautiful. I even cried at the end! 😢❤️

I’m really excited to be spending this rainy evening at @BFI for a screening of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. I’ve never seen it! I’m having a great year for filling in gaps in my film knowledge 🥰

Had my last attempt to see The Sheep Detectives thwarted when my son broke his finger (he’s fine) so I’m really happy to finally be taking the kids to @Everymancinema to see it 😄

#MastersOfTheUniverse is campy and fun and totally enjoyable. It had a lot to live up to as I really loved the cartoon, but Nicholas Galitzine was a delight and I love that it made fun of itself and just totally went for it. Great music too, I was grinning at the end 😄🗡️⚡️

‘BACKROOMS’ director Kane Parsons says he would get “no enjoyment” out of using generative AI on any project — “It defeats the purpose entirely for me.” “I think I'm in the same boat as most well-adjusted people. If I could snap my fingers and make generative Al disappear forever, I probably would.” (Source: theaustralian.com.au/subscri…)

I enjoyed Tuner, Leo Woodall was great, but I haven’t found a film so difficult to listen to since Sound of Metal. I think films like that should come with a warning, because if you’re prone to tinnitus it’s really challenging and I was frequently blocking my ears! Ironic really.
