How can I not be grateful? Everything is expensive, yet, God never leaves me hungry, or empty handed.

Nigeria is the only place where a politician can fail spectacularly and still have supporters explaining why the failure is actually a success. Such idiocy must end in 2027. #TinubuMustGo

American: So there are terrorists causing problems in your country, right? Nigerian: Yes. American: That's terrible. Is the government at least doing something about it? Nigerian: Well, our president addressed the issue. American: Oh. What did he say? Nigerian: He spoke about the law of lawf in the holy book American: ...The law of love? Nigerian: I guess American: Okay. Did you send the military after them? Nigerian: Hmm... at times. American: What do you mean "at times"? Nigerian: Sometimes we've heard the military went after them. In some cases, the terrorists ended up killing military personnel. American: Wait. They killed your soldiers? Nigerian: Yes. American: Okay, so then your government retaliated and finished them off, right? Nigerian: Mm... nah. American: What do you mean "nah"? Nigerian: Well, our president also gave an example from the Bible about the prodigal son on how we should accept them with love. American: Hold on. The prodigal son? Nigerian: Yes. American: I'm confused. So you're telling me terrorists killed military personnel, and the response was a Bible lesson? Nigerian: Something like that. American: So you guys aren't doing anything? Nigerian: No, no. We're doing something. American: Okay. What are you doing? Nigerian: We're rehabilitating the ones we catch. American: You're... rehabilitating them? Nigerian: Yes. American: Not prosecuting them? Nigerian: Not according to our president, no. American: WTF WTF WTF Nigerian: I never even tell you anything, you don dey cry

The Nigerian government has done something impressive. They have convinced millions of people that struggling to eat, struggling to pay rent and struggling to survive is a personal failure instead of an economic one. That's genius.

The total debts Nigeria owes both foreign and domestic summed up together is not up to N210trn. Yet one man allegedly stole N210trn from a supposed "poor country" according to Buhari, Tinubu and their APC dimwits

The more I try to be quiet about this, the more I realize people need to know what we are not talking about. A church revival was attacked. A pastor was killed. Families were torn apart in minutes. Among those taken were three siblings. Their mother, who had initially escaped by running away went back because her children were among those being taken. A church member rushed to help the pastor after the attack. He had an accident on the way too and by the time he regained consciousness, he was told his wife and 3 children had been abducted. The man lost his leg! Now, more than 40 days later, families are still waiting for answers.
Ekiti is dealing with serious security concerns that deserve more attention but you will never see the residents talk about it. People were kidnapped in Eda Oniyo in Ilejemeje LGA more than a month ago, and things have not been normal since then, students go to school and close at the slightest rumor of bandit, nearby or faraway. Hospitals close by 6pm and they specifically told someone that needed a surgery that they’ll have to leave her and the security man will be the only one with her in the hospital. These are the kinds of stories that should remain in the public conversation until there are answers and lasting solutions. But no! They will not talk!

Guys!! It’s cold very outside! I just stepped outside my house to feel it. And if it’s this cold in Lagos, it’s colder in Ibadan and much even colder in the bushes! These children and their teachers are shivering right now! This is their 27th night! God!😭😭

Once you realize that anything can happen; sickness, death, lose your job... Literally, anything in the blink of an eye, you become very humble. Tables turn and that's how crazy life can get. Always stay humble, and be grateful.

No kind of poverty should make you partake in a terrorist giveaway, man. Money you know likely came from the ransom paid by families of kidnapped victims?? Haba what kind of society are we?? In fact every single one of you should be treated as a criminal.

Gas finished last night and the kids were craving shawarma, I was too. Hubby said to go out to get it for all of us with drinks for dinner, I punched my calculator to see how much it will cost for a family of 5. I arrived at over 35k. 12kg gas now cost 24k, we would use it 4weeks at least. I chose gas over shawarma. That is for a family where both partners work and earn decently. We couldn't even afford a basic treat without punching the calculator. Everything extra is now considered luxury Now imagine the life of a child whose both parents are skilless, unemployed or earns meagerly. I know many of you will come and ask if shawarma is food, no it's not but everyone deserves a treat once in a while. We all know what we are doing but you people should fear Allah.
