TL;DR The Utah Safety Panel still needs to do better when communicating to the community. When there are public incidents within the community there needs to be public statements regarding those incidents.
@Utah_Smash I know you guys are just the PR panel and not actually the safety panel but sadly the safety panel doesn't have a properly laid out channel to communicate with them so I am addressing this to the PR panel. It has been two months since the reformation of the Safety Panel, a reformation made in part because of the short comings in terms of communication with the Utah Smash Community. There were three separate public incidents in the community that were never publicly addressed. Instead the community has tons of hearsay and gossip about what repercussions were given out to ChillArmy, JoltSmash, Eto, and Dreamlander. One of the most important jobs of the Safety Council is to have the trust of the community but in the 4 years I have been in the community they have never had it. In fact most of the time people didn't even know we had a safety panel. This is a gross negligence of the position that is held and there needs to be a public format for the safety council to easily engage with public matters within the community as well as a clear access to private communications allowing for reports. There also needs to be a proper code of conduct for the community. If this is something that seems like too much work for you as a council, I understand you have your own busy lives, I would be glad to write a modified version of other communities codes of conducts also with you and the PR panel going over it to make sure it fits your wishes. I ask again for the third or fourth time this year alone for proper reforms to be made, that the members of the Safety Panel treat their position and responsibility with the respect, integrity, accountability, reverence, and diligence it deserves instead of just allowing these issues to be whispering confused gossip. Thank you for reading this and I hope that this doesn't fall on deaf ears.
