lando on the gains from the new front wing that was introduced in montreal and used this weekend: "we're talking minimal, probably not even half a tenth. so it's hard to know a number but everything helps. probably got me P4 today over P5, max is only two hundredths behind so we're still in a race where hundredths of a second count. so the team are doing a very good job to bring it, bring everything that we can at this point."

“we’ve been a bit unlucky with lando, the first lap in Q3 he was 250m before the flag when it was red flagged, and that was a strong lap. and when you know that you have a strong lap on the board, in the second lap you can push a little bit more. so I think there was a possibility to fight for p3 or the first row today, but that’s what it is, good position for the race tomorrow for lando and at this track with the high tyre degradation [..] it’s more about race pace and tire management”
