I am planning to use the word 'syncretic' over the weekend, and not in a crossword. @montylitfest

Those who keep carping about the West having fallen must hate this. Truth, beauty, technology and faith- quite the legacy Signor Gaudi
One of the most mind blowing 10 minutes of video Christianity has ever produced.

hey @matthucius My Spacegoods dilemma. Great product but worst customer service I've ever encountered. Emails answered by insolent bots, delivery on a whim, 2 deliveries sometimes, sometimes nothing. How can I sort this? Will not restart bot chatt bollocks, feel forced to cancel

What august company I am keeping! The wonderful @sophiehannahCB1 kicks off our Saturday. She is as funny as she is smart. Sunday starts strong with 'Whalefall,' a book of beauty and calm intensity (yes, that is a thing) and then powerhouse Sian Hughes. Then @YnyrIola talks to me
Fan fiction? Yes indeed. Because these are writers whose great fiction and all-round fabulousness we want to share. @sophiehannahCB1 @lodeslan Elizabeth O'Connor and Sian Hughes @bedsqpublishers @CarregGwalch @picadorbooks @PressIndigoThe THIS WEEKEND montylitfest.com

I don't want the Monetary Policy of the Bank of Englad to get over-excited about a consumer-driven economic boom but after 20 years of repairing the old, broken one with a series of shoelaces, I have splashed out on a new airer and it feels epoch-making.

Two ways of looking at Wales: The excitement of discovery and the sadness of loss. Maybe the written and oral memory does endure longer than bricks and mortar. montylitfest.com for tickets and info @itvcymruwales @serenbooks @calonbooks

Ever had one of those days when you spend hours raging at Microsoft, only to find out that you should have been raging at EE? #FruitlessFury

I'm often rather glad that no-one has to believe in omens any more. Driving west up the sunny Banw valley, on the way back from having a new starter motor fitted (for the car, not me), I saw a cloud shaped like a lobster and I don't have to bother to work out what it means.

Political speech in English: Hard working families. Let me be clear. Reaching across the aisle. Political speech in Welsh: Allow me to quote an inter-war pacifist poet from Pembrokeshire... who my entire audience will be familiar with...

Thus far, in the Senedd Elections, I have attended 3 hustings and organized 1 (Meifod, tomorrow evening, 7.30pm, since you ask). I think it remains very important to be in the same room as those asking for your vote, to see the whites of their eyes. Go on, be an active voter.

'The Privy Purse Expenses of the Princess Mary' did not disappoint

Have that point in my life when my pulse is racing because I have discovered that an 1831 book 'The Privy Purse Expenses of the Princess Mary' is available in the @LLGCymru and I will be able to read it this very Tuesday. On my way to @BBCCymruWales poetry comp Talwrn y Beirdd.

Genuine question not snark. How does one cope with a study of an author which gets one biographical fact totally wrong? I am reading seems like a profound book to the faith of Tolkein which repeatedly describes him as a convert. Cradle status may not matter but it does undermine.

There is a lot of talk about conversions, less of reversions. I seem to see a lot of un-lapsing going on. And, as my mother said, St Peter is a fisherman and when his hook is in place, you might not feel the tug for ages, but it will come.

This season is about truth so now is the moment to say I just don't like sourdough bread. The crusts are horribly chewy, the inside's mostly fresh air & if you set it down for 30 seconds, it becomes hard as a rock. We've progressed beyond it- it's just affected kitchen rewilding.

The Hanoverian in Chief announces that he will not issue an Easter message for the members of the Church he heads. Meanwhile, I discover that Armada Regret is a genuine phenomenon. Give it another so, chaps, please x.com/i/status/2039794549229…

Having managed to keep my Lenten resolution to stay away from booze, I treated myself to a wheelbarrow and two pots of taramarsalata.
