@BrandSanderson new reader. Genuinely disappointed I didn't find you back when the Lord ruler first ascended. You will probably never see this but I love seeing your online presence and engagement. Only ever experienced that with Margaret Atwood. But you're much more my genre
But a massive thank you for sparking probably half of my pub conversations in the last 3-6 months. Was laid off recently and escaping to the cosmere is my respite. I only wish I had faster access to them all 🤣
A bumpy ride but we made it to #Day24. This #AdventCalendar rounds off with Good King Henry Special Reserve by @grainbrewery. A 2021 punch of rich old school impy stout. Treacle and oak. Like a caramel that's a STEP from burning. Amazing year as always @indiebeershop
I always say it but to everyone who loves #CraftBeer like me, please do make sure to #ShopLocal this season. Local businesses have had a rough time in the last few years so please do what you can to support the businesses that keep our local communities vibrant. #MerryChristmas
A Geuze! #Day23 is a Geuze! And I actually drank it on the 23rd! I love Cantillon and always wonder how these beers will taste in a few years but no chance of that! Lambic, eye wateringly sour, super tanic but not harsh. This 2022 lambic is lovely! Thanks @indiebeershop#advent
#Day21 of #Advent had me worried. Barley wine is never my favourite which made @ElusiveBrew BA Mince Pie Barley Wine a shock for me. I need to drink more of your beer because you made me like barley wine, and I love oregon trail! Rich caramel and butter. Thanks @indiebeershop
#Day21 of this #AdventCalendar brought Home Alone paired with Ride Like Fire, collab of @NMBCo and @rivingtonbrewco. Super hazy but not the dreaded dank. Like biting into the love child of a grapefruit, a mango, and a pear. Nice. Thanks @indiebeershop for making Christmas special
Right that's me caught up on what I've had. #Day18 and a few others will be today's beers.
Sorry to be so behind. I unfortunately lost my job and dealing with that meant my advent calendar was away in the countryside while I was stuck in London dealing with work! #funemployed
#Day17 of the #AdventCalendar I had last night so ALMOST caught up. Funky Fluid serving White Guava and Lychee in this Splash White Double Fruited Gose. Sessionable at 3.6% but lacking NO flavour. Ellie wanted one too. Thanks @indiebeershop for my #AdventCalendar. Always a treat
#Day16 was a monster. I'm having to sesh these now because of my hiatus but this one needed its own day! Sixty shops down by @galwaybeer and @CervesaLaPirata was like vanilla chocolate cake got drunk in a whisky bar and stumbled home. Thanks @indiebeershop. Shop local everyone!
Only ever had sours by @ArpusBrewingCo before and they were a highlight of last year. #Day15 brought us their 6th anniversary TDHIPA. Not sure I've had a TDH before but hells does it pack a punch at only 7%. Super hazy bitter and fruity to pair with the Xmas haul. @indiebeershop
#Day13 of the #AdventCalendar and @indiebeershop gives us Prize Pils by @Omnipollo. Crisp. Sweet. Malty. Nice train beer and great if you love a pils but not my favourite personally. Love Omni's other beers though and if you want something that goes down like a helles...!
Okay we have a few to go so bear with me! #AdventCalendar beers are back! #Day12 was awesome. A trip to Glasgow for work. @holygoatbrewing from Dundee and @NMBCo gave us Firebreather. The chilli was a kiss of warmth to compliment the roaring tropics. Epic. Thanks @indiebeershop
Unforeseen circumstances mean I can't keep up to date on my #craftbeer#AdventCalendar. I should resume monday/Tuesday with some catching up to do sorry!
I love @BurntMillBeer. #Day11 was no exception. My train companion was Pinnacle. Quite peachy and a little tart with loads of sweet citrus zest. I'd be happy with a dipa of this tbh. Much love to @indiebeershop for my lovely #AdventCalendar. Support local this festive season!
Is it a mead or a sour? This Braggot is the best of both. Coming in hot #Day9 by @SirenCraftBrew and @bnektar. Citrus and sweet. Bit tanic and far too drinkable for 8.5. Well done. Well. Done.
Thanks @indiebeershop for my #AdventCalendar! We're up to date now lol
