Vanes Martirosyan, 39, passed away earlier today in Los Angeles after his two-year battle with skin cancer.
Martirosyan (36-4-1, 21 KOs) retired after his fight against Gennadiy Golovkin in 2018.
May the 2004 United States Olympian rest in peace.

Sad news to hear of the passing of Joe Bugner, former British, European and Commonwealth Champion, and a man who went the distance with both Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier
He also participated in the first fight I did on ITV - a great man who will be missed. I'm sending my regards to his family. May he rest in peace.

Hopefully Joe’s legacy will grow. A legend of British boxing who for various reasons seemed to have a love hate relationship with British boxing fans and the press. A true legend of the sport and a really really sad day indeed. RIP Champ ❤️🥊
