strongly feel like none of us can comment on this unless we watch at least one of these song breakdowns, to see if they have enough interesting things to say for the whole 45 minutes. Maybe they do! Maybe they extrapolate and bring in comparisons to other songs, who knows!

I just think that being mean to them for innocently enjoying their fav’s music is bad enough; it’s even worse to do so with no knowledge of what you’re talking about and simply assuming the videos are too long. Maybe the length IS warranted to have a less shallow analysis!

This made me think a lot, bc in a vacuum I agree with it. I even agree with it in regards to a lot of specific characters. But I also think that SOMETIMES it works well. It’s always sad, but some perpetually-suffering character arcs ending in death feel cathartic or make sense.

It’s hard for me to articulate why here, especially without spoiling any shows, but…sometimes, if much of the suffering is self-inflicted and there’s a lack of growth in the character, AND if it’s written well, I think death is a fine ending.
