This is the model of data center development we should all be advocating for. Google is building 1.4 GW of solar and wind capacity to power their 840 MW data center and using basically no water. This project also helps explain why Google paid $4.75 billion for Intersect Power, the developer of Meiter Energy Center. Intersect has gigawatts of clean energy capacity in the Texas interconnection queue. Thanks to a new rule passed last year, they can effectively share that interconnection with data centers. So rather than wait 5 years to bring online a 840 MW data center, Google is going to bring it online in October 2027.

MIN: Do you know how much new energy China put online last year? BURGUM: Intermittent or base load? MIN: All energy. 543 GW. How much was renewable? 434 GW. BURGUM: But only when the wind is blowing and sun is shining MIN: Meanwhile, the US put up 53 GW of new energy last year -- less than 10% of China. You're clear bias against renewables is harming our national security.

Trump wasted almost $2 billion in taxpayer dollars to kill projects that would’ve helped to lower energy costs. With gas at more than $4/gallon, the president is making it clear: he has no intention of giving working families relief.

A Perry Mason moment here between AOC and Lee Zeldin. After Lee Zeldin denies meeting with Bayer to discuss litigation the company was facing, AOC presents visitor logs and emails from Zeldin’s senior advisor stating that Zeldin would be meeting with the Bayer CEO to discuss “legal/judicial issues.” “In this internal email, it says that Bayer was specifically seeking and discussing Supreme Court action, it would want an update on EPA’s regulatory review, and that, interestingly, Bayer will provide a small thanks for updating the glyphosate webpage from the EPA and work on MAHA.”

Fox guest: With oil prices as high as they are for as long as they've been, it's going to cost more to build new homes. Unfortunately, affordability is still out of reach for a lot of people, especially the first-time home buyers. Oil affects everything from lumber, diesel, steel, everything.
