Some evenings I’m in meetings with people twice my age, discussing budgets and serious decisions. And then I remember that a few years ago, I was at the student café wondering what drink to order next. Adulthood sneaks up on you. Grateful, but still surprised sometimes.

The #dotnetfoundation election is using Single Transferable Vote this year. 8 candidates, 3 seats, full ranking required. (Quick correction: earlier email/form had a typo saying you could vote for a subset. That was my mistake — you need to rank all candidates.)

The most important language as a dev in the world of AI isn't C#, JavaScript or Rust. It's English

Counting my blessings every day that I’m not employed by a company where after-work events are “optional” until you don’t show up. I hate that stuff.

Just saw the Dutch national soccer team leave for their last game in the Netherlands before they leave for the US. Pretty cool 😎.

I might be a Microsoft MVP, but that doesn’t mean I know everything about .NET I love sharing what I know, and I’m still learning constantly. I’ve been coding professionally for about 3 years now, and there’s still so much to discover.

My mind while already trying to fit 32 hours of work into a 24-hour day: “You should start a new side project. No wait, start a newsletter. What about that 600-page book? Maybe you should learn a new language. What if we sell all our clothes and buy a farm?”

Are you a mouse or touchpad person? When I’m working on a laptop, I always use the touchpad.

Sometimes I do miss being stuck on a silly little bug and scrolling through Stack Overflow for hours, then finally feeling the rush of solving it

Talk 2/2 of @update_conf has been given. Now I'm tired 😴 Don't worry, there were people sitting there while I was speaking.
