Guillermo O’Donnell’s legacy is in the best possible hands. Anibal’s kind and brilliant leadership of the Kellogg will be massively beneficial for Latin Americanists, social scientists and students of development at Notre Dame and elsewhere. Felicitaciones y gracias @aperezli!
We are thrilled to announce that Aníbal Pérez-Liñán has been named the new director of the Kellogg Institute, effective July 1, when Paolo Carozza steps down after completing two five-year terms. Congratulations @aperezli! More at bit.ly/3gQFeAY

We hope to contribute to theories of incumbency effects and to bring nuance to debates about voter competence. It was a privilege to work with @lmnovaes , whose empirical creativity and clear thinking made this paper so much better 11/11
