I wonder. Is it a good idea for the pilot to say we have flap issues and we need to have them fixed on the speaker to the whole the cabin? With family that has serious flying anxiety not sure it is the best idea. @SouthwestAir

When you're out and about, make sure to keep a 6-foot distance from those not in your household to prevent the spread of #COVID19. That means there should be the length of one @McConaughey between you and others at all times.

"You cannot have a growth mindset by asking kids to do fixed math problems." Jo Boaler @joboaler. We need to rethink how we teach and not just tell kids, "Work harder. Have a growth mindset. You can do anything." This will fall flat and perpetuate math myths. #ToddleTIES

Wonderful way to provide student agency!

From a friend in Spain: “So, there was a call on social media today in Spain to go out to balconies and windows at 22:00 to give a huge ovation to thank and support hospital workers. It’s 22:05 and I can hear the roar from the other side of the closed double glass windows.”

My school just "pivoted" to online. Here's the message I sent to students: I'm here to support you however I can. Take care of yourself and your family first. Our class should not be your priority. Everything about this class is flexible. Whatever happens, we will work it out.

A kid fell asleep during a quiz. I encouraged him to wake up and work, but he refused. At the end of the day, he asked if he could finish the quiz tomorrow. At first, I thought ABSOLUTELY NOT, but then I remembered that second chances are more important than proving my point.

Our school admin started Workshop Wednesdays. Teachers who have a skill, lesson, etc to share is given a sub for the day, and teaches the other teachers all day during their preps. It's nice to see that admin believe in their staff and value their skills. #hacklearning

Minor and Housman’s research found that one toxic employee wipes out the gains for more than two superstars. One huge sign of toxicity is rudeness and, like a cold, it’s contagious, spreads quickly, and anyone can be a carrier.
