Switched to @diabrowser last week as a heavy @arcinternet user, hoping for the next big thing from The Browser Company. The onboarding was slick, and having AI always available was handy—especially on social media or news sites. But here’s why I’m going back to Arc. 🧵 1/7

Bottom line: I’m back to Arc tomorrow. Dia’s a cool experiment, but in its current state, it’s not the AI interface The Browser Company wants it to be. It’s too minimal for power users and lacks Arc’s magic. 6/7

I hate low cost companies because they try to steal your money with every possible dark pattern.
Here’s a small @easyJet story: last week they fined me 58€ at the boarding gate in Barcelona because I bought the wrong ticket for my luggage (it wasn’t cabin).

If you replied "with the buttons", you’re wrong. "Add a large cabin bag" looks like a title but it’s actually a button, that brings you to another page where you can actually add a cabin bag 🤦♂️

If I can make a wish, I’d love to see my carbon emissions for the trip in app, and ideally have a shortcut to compensate for them via @Treedom or other partners ✨

It’s crazy to think the iPhone XS is already 5 years old, and still I’ve updated it to iOS 17 just fine.
Being so long-lived also means its cost of ownership is now less then 240 €/year! Great value for the money in my opinion. ✨

I remember @verge mentioning that the extra processing power was meant to future-proof the phone, and it’s definitely proving to be true.
I wonder if being "expensive" still holds under this new perspective: 5 years later, latest software, no hiccups 😬

How sick would it be if @RevolutApp and #Apple partnered to launch the @AppleCard in 🇪🇺? 🤩
Revolut's credit card offering is very limited (🇱🇹 and 🇮🇪 only), and the #AppleCard would be very desirable for most of its customers IMO.

Hey @arcinternet 👋 I would really like to be able to toggle the sidebar with cmd b, but for some reason I can't change the shortcut to be cmd b. It just won't register. Any reason why?
The reason for using cmd b is that it matches the vscode sidebar toggle 😬
