it still pisses me off to think that a straight male actor could say he considers his character bi and it's accepted as gospel by fandom but a queer female writer involved in the storyline couldn't say she HEADCANONS a character as a lesbian...queer women deserve better than this

happy 2 years we never got to see how anyone but Finch reacted to Jed falling in love with Ben, a literal demigod or see Jed interact with any of his other friends before he left the school for good after being robbed of a huge piece of his identity & source of seasonal conflict

hcs: jed was illiterate when he arrived at sbs bc his pack didn't rate literacy & numeracy as high priorities, he's dyslexic & if you didn't catch on fast that was it. caroline taught him & wade helped him reach the reading level he's at now, it's how they became friends

jed isn't severely dyslexic, but he needed extra help & the pack were never going to give it, they didn't evem really know dyslexia was a thing. like everything they taught, if you didn't get it within a set time frame you were left behind, survival of the fittest always
