We Purpled Up! today to show our love 💜 and support for our amazing armed forces children and young people. We celebrated the strengths of our military children and raised awareness with lots of purple themed crafts and outdoor games. #MotMCHelensburgh #ArmedForcesHelensburgh

Well done to our Pupil Council who took action to fundraise for Red 🔴 Nose Day. It shows how important their voice is and how they’re looking out for the best interests of other children. They raised £162 by selling sweet treats, noses & cards - a huge amount for a wee school 🙌

A huge thank you to the community for coming out & supporting our children at their Nativity last night. The children were awesome🌟 but having the village there to cheer them on meant the world to them. A nativity set in Luss, for Luss, made by the children of Luss #LoveLuss💚💙

We loved ‘Wild Maths’ for this year’s #MathsWeekScot From symmetry to number, 2D shape to pattern; we even managed to construct a few 3D shapes in the wild. It was great for multi-stage learning and enjoying the last of summer… #countingonexcellence

Today is World Bee Day 🐝! Bees are tiny heroes that pollinate 75% of the world crops . We are doing our best to help them by getting a hive and planting sunflowers for them . We’ve also been making honey sandwiches and bee biscuits and writing poems about bees 🐝 @worldbeeday

We decided to get off to an early start with maths week activities to take advantage of the sunshine .We loved making potions and finding things to measure . The older children even made us an obstacle course . @MathsWeekScotland @30DaysWild

We had a fab time participating in 💜PurpleUp! Day @ForcesChildScot to show support for our military children; from dressing in purple to dandelion inspired abstract art and baking & designing purple-up biscuits 😋. Thanks to Emer & Lucy for their support. #MotMChelensburgh

We’ve had the best morning ever @Lennoxoflomond A huge thank you to the Lennox family who taught us about lambing season 🐑, farming life 🚜 and the geography⛰️ of our local area. There was even a lovely sweet treat to finish. It was huge smiles from pupils and staff alike.. 💚💙

We’re not blasting into space 🧑‍🚀 yet, but we have started our journey to being young beekeepers 🐝 by trying out our new suits and building our new hives from @MaisemoreBees. We also explored some of the equipment we’ll be getting to know. Next up, designing the look of our hives
