My feed keeps showing me people discovering NY for the first time and they’re like wow people are hot here!! There’s only some smells and they’re fleeting!

Seeing people so happy to watch the Knicks on random brick walls in 90 degrees is why we need way more things as a society to collectively celebrate

It’s no wonder people love talking to machines Parents: “when am I getting grandkids?” Boss: “where are the slides?” ChatGPT: “what I can help you accomplish today? I’m here for anything you need”

It’s a weird feeling to be both extremely excited about the frontier and also eyes wide open about how many people will get hurt as we approach the fire. I can’t be the only one.

A fun Barney Frank story: he used to host Christmas Eve for Jewish members of Congress. One time, he asked my Mom to help him in the kitchen with the food. My Mom opened one oven and saw a bunch of his dress shirts drying out. He said, no, the other oven! She opened the second oven and there was the Chinese food. RIP.

Will never forget touring Vice’s deserted and depressing office in Dumbo circa 2019. It was like a fire sale but I could visualize how it might have felt at its highs. Exciting, maybe even electric. I told my boss (the CEO) that it would be bad energy to move into that space. As my mom always says, don’t round trip it. You can never call the top but you also can’t get greedy.
