University applications to nursing are down 17% this year. One in three nurses leave degree programmes early. In 2022 there was a 25% increase in nurses leaving ⦠7,000 compared to 2021 two thirds were under 45yrs⦠(Roy Lilley, 8th Aug 2023). Catastrophe coming!
