Teens have told us that @Pinterest is their personal space where they can plan & manifest their futures without fear of being judged & an oasis from the toxicity of social media. We want to give teens more of that.
If you’re under 16, Pinterest is now private and protected by default. That's not a feature you have to hunt for buried in settings that you can't find. It's for every user under 16 all the time - because it shouldn't be so hard to be safe online.

Case in point, last week there was a 40 person gathering (party) at a neighbour’s that went on till the morning. Called the Dun Laoghaire Gardai station several times to report the violation and their response was that there was nothing at all they could do.

If social gathering guidelines are unenforceable, what stops irresponsible people from doing whatever they want?
Social gathering guidelines may as well also suggest for all people to wear blue shoes and a top hat.
