Just need a couple pieces of heat shrink and I’ll be done with the control box. Got the wires from the fuse box cut and terminated and braided. Tomorrow I’ll finish ip the box and start wiring on the engine and frame.
I need to figure out the dash. Thinking of using some of the premade ones. Possibly one of 9” wide dash panels for the Speedo and vehicle controls and one of the center consoles for the turbine controls. This would also allow me to hide the power disconnect compactor under that.
Had a hell of a time cutting holes for the power feedthrough on my control box with the carbide hole saw I had. I ordered a couple more saws and took it to the tool grinder and ground the carbide to a negative rake as well as the same to the pilot but. Cuts the ABS clean now.
On this EGT, Anyone know what it means by “Use 8 ohm C-A leads” I know C-A is referring to Chromel Alumel but I have never seen an ohm rating on thermocouple wire before. I saw another EGT that said “use 22 ohm special leads” I’m so confused.
Caught a cold Thursday so I was laid up for a bit. Got the fuel system plumbed in, parking brakes hooked up, and 12v battery mounted. Also found the back bumper loop pieces was crookeder than all hell and barely attached so I cut it loose and I’ll reattach it.
