Reporter: The DOJ has this new fund — $1.7 billion. Why should taxpayers pay for the January 6ers? Trump: Because in my world, loyalty outranks law. They broke the rules for me, so you pay the bill for them. That’s the transaction.

Government agencies are now lying to you from their official accounts. Senator Padilla identified himself repeatedly and only tried to hold his ground when Noem’s goon came after him.

Senator Padilla chose disrespectful political theatre and interrupted a live press conference without identifying himself or having his Senate security pin on as he lunged toward Secretary Noem. Mr. Padilla was told repeatedly to back away and did not comply with officers’ repeated commands. @SecretService thought he was an attacker and officers acted appropriately. Secretary Noem met with Senator Padilla after and held a 15 minute meeting.

BREAKING: FBI says they won't investigate an assault of a Senator doing his job. There was at least one FBI agent involved in that assault on a sitting Senator. Bongino says it's okay for his men to assault Senators. Bongino must be fired.
With regard to the incident in LA this afternoon, the Senator in question was not wearing a security pin and physically resisted law enforcement when confronted. Our FBI personnel acted completely appropriately while assisting Secret Service and we are grateful for their professionalism and service.

As the videotapes clearly show, Noem is lying. Padilla is clearly identifying himself as a senator before he he is thrown to the ground and handcuffed. mediaite.com/media/news/poli…

In Donald Trump's America, if you say "I am Senator Alex Padilla, I have questions for the Secretary," you get thrown to the floor and handcuffed.

In 2012, when I was the US ambassador to Russia, Putin shut down USAID inside Russia. Why? Because their work supported free markets, democracy, human rights —ie causes that threatened Putins dictatorship. Shutting down USAID is exactly what autocrats all over the world want.

A private citizen with unfathomable wealth and deep ties to the Chinese government has, with his cronies, seized control of the government and is canceling congressionally apportioned spending based on his whims.

Yes it's "activist groups" instead of "the uncertainty of the investment" that has slowed spending

Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers, even though nothing has changed with content moderation and we did everything we could to appease the activists. Extremely messed up! They’re trying to destroy free speech in America.
Community note
Multiple advertisers have confirmed they are pausing spending while they see what direction Elon Musk takes with the platform. "The growing exodus of advertisers comes amid concerns Musk will scale back misinformation and security protections on the platform." theguardian.com/technology/202…

Ironic to see Tuberville, a guy who ran a hedge fund that was shut down for defrauding investors and then later ran a charity for veterans that gave a shamefully small percentage of the money it collected to actual — you know — veterans, accuse other ppl of being "pro-crime."
