Today’s just for the F of it project: modifying a LED video light for WiFi control. Of course that means breaking out the trusty logic probe.

Yeah. that looks good.

Booya! Proof of concept successful. LEDs dim and brighten as expected. Still not sure what the actual implication is that the PWM signal is 3.3V vs. 5V, especially given that the circuit is not treating the PWM as a digital signal but as some analog tweak to the feedback loop.

@WaltDisneyWorld: magical place with unmagical transport. Bad travel day!! Stay at Polynesian because it’s close to MK on monorail. Have princess bfast this am. Monorail broken. Told to use bus. No bus service because why run a bus when there is a monorail? But it gets worse.

Have to take Uber to MK but you can’t drop passengers to MK. Have to go to TTC which is a WALK from our hotel so what was the point? Navigate through security - super long walk due to construction. Get on monorail! First stop: the hotel we just left from.
Just saw this broken warning light on the street. My first thought: hey wonder if that IC is a 555?

Engineering colleague brings up her wedding. Me, also an engineer: Oooh we need to write requirements for the dress! 1. It shall have pockets. 2. It shall permit strides up to 70 cm. 3. It shall allow use of the bathroom in less than 1 min (verify by test).
