Morning activity across the Denver metro included a reported house fire in Evergreen that prompted evacuations, an unresponsive person call involving two women inside a vehicle near West Dartmouth Avenue, and multiple traffic disruptions from debris spilling across I-70 to a truck blocking lanes near Woodward Park. RTD police also responded after a bus driver reported being spat on near East 60th Avenue, while deputies checked on an abandoned silver Dodge sedan near the Thunder Valley motocross area. 9:14 AM E 60th Avenue & Morgan Street area Bus driver reports person spit on them at stop Transit police responded after a bus driver reported a person allegedly spat on them near a bus stop at East 60th Avenue and Morgan Street. RTD officers were reportedly already involved in the situation. 8:50 AM S Rooney Road near Thunder Valley motocross track Abandoned silver Dodge sedan reported Dispatchers received reports of an apparently abandoned silver Dodge sedan parked near the Thunder Valley motocross track south of Colfax Avenue just outside Lakewood city limits. 8:49 AM S Rooney Road near Thunder Valley motocross track Deputy places tag on abandoned vehicle A deputy checked on the silver Dodge sedan parked near the motocross area and reportedly placed a 48-hour no-hazard tag on the vehicle. 8:48 AM W Harvard Avenue & Federal Boulevard Crash reported near intersection Dispatchers received reports of a possible traffic crash near West Harvard Avenue and Federal Boulevard, also described in radio traffic as near Harvard and 5th. 8:44 AM W Dartmouth Avenue area Two women require emergency medical response in vehicle Emergency crews responded to a reported medical issue involving two women inside a silver car parked near an apartment complex off West Dartmouth Avenue. Police and fire units were also dispatched emergent. 8:44 AM W Dartmouth Avenue area Unresponsive person reported inside vehicle Emergency personnel responded to reports of a possible unresponsive person in a vehicle near West Dartmouth Avenue. Radio traffic indicated two females were inside the car while police and fire crews responded with lights and sirens. 8:31 AM Woodward Way near Woodward Park Truck blocks northbound lanes Radio traffic reported a large truck blocking northbound traffic near Woodward Park, causing a possible temporary road closure. A supervisor was reportedly sent to assist. 8:19 AM I-70 eastbound from Federal Boulevard toward Brighton Boulevard Truck reportedly dropping debris across highway Dispatchers received reports of a white pickup truck towing a trailer that was reportedly losing debris along eastbound I-70 from the Federal area toward Brighton Boulevard. Units advised they would check the roadway after debris reportedly spread across multiple lanes. 7:50 AM Whispering Sage Street, Evergreen area Smoke reported at home with occupants evacuated Evergreen fire crews responded to a reported possible house fire near Whispering Sage Street after smoke was seen coming from the residence. Occupants were reportedly evacuated while command units coordinated the response.
