in 2021, @beeple crashed the @MakersPlace site with a $1 raffle told everyone to "drop an F" in the mp discord chaos ensued. i was just a mod at the time, held the server together solo, caught the eye of another platform, and leveraged it to get hired by mp wild times

I probably shouldn’t have to say this but since it is often conveniently forgotten, it was MakersPlace where beeple’s $69M work was minted and it was MakersPlace that took it to Christie’s to bring to market because we we wanted it to get the broadest exposure possible.
