No, it's actually giyu, rengoku understood very well how tanjiro feels here, how he would blame himself and feel frustrated, but giyu understood more, he understood that Tanjiro is carrying too much responsibility and must be protected, first hashira meeting says everything

I should add.. i didn't care about Tanjiro's trauma at first, i was more interested in his resolve, and later connected deeply with his emotional intelligence, moral code and how he transcends himself as a human being .. some of you really can't watch this show like normal people

"Characters you actually care about losing" right, because you can't find a character compelling or resonate with them unless there's a last-minute traumatic backstory attached to it

I just wanted to clarify that Muichiro's only ties are with his parents, his brother, his friends, and his fellow Hashira. But if someone says he's descended from someone else and therefore shares blood with that person, they're lying because Muichiro has nothing to do with him.
