It's really interesting that slow zones on the subway which carries 1 million riders per day gets barely any media coverage, while Gardiner Expressway construction which impacts 140,000 vehicles a day gets seemingly nonstop media coverage.
Really unfortunate seeing the Toronto subway falling apart like this, with massive speed reductions impacting 100s of thousands a day. But, these problems and the lack of action and open engagement to address them are ultimately reflective of the priorities of our leaders.

#topoli The latest in the ridiculous saga of Desoto's on St. Clair West at Lauder. A restaurant operating a corner patio for 20 years, and, despite the intervention of @BravoDavenport, the City is still giving this guy the gears. Why? change.org/p/save-desotos-ea…

Where's MS? Am researching dementia/neurodegenerative diseases in UK Dementia affects 885,000 Parkinson's - 145,000 MS - 130,000 Yet MS not mentioned at start of this @GOVUK doc or @CambridgeBRC, @Oxford_NDPH & others. Is it because MS impacts young ppl - mostly women?

Parts of a giant 400-yr old eucalyptus tree, 85 meters tall & 280 cubic meters of stem volume from #Tasmania’s Florentine Valley are now hauled by logging trucks. It’s equivalent to poaching the extremely few remaining & critically endangered Javan rhinos. All for profit & greed.

Great news on a key piece of legislation. Thanks for all the hard work.
Short story: V1 of Bill C-41 would have crippled #humanitarian action from #Canada. V2 just passed into law upholds the right and freedom of humanitarian orgs to act immediately wherever we are needed. BIG WIN today. @MSF . Full story 👇🏼

There were over 3800 birds included in our Annual Bird Layout this year. These birds were collected during Spring and Fall Migration of 2022. The largest bird found was this female Wild Turkey, who shattered the window she collided with at an industrial building in Markham, ON.

Bill C-41 is unduly restrictive, and it should be replaced with a general humanitarian exemption. ⁦@joe_belliveau⁩ ⁦@MSF_canadalinkedin.com/posts/joe-belli…
