It's really interesting that slow zones on the subway which carries 1 million riders per day gets barely any media coverage, while Gardiner Expressway construction which impacts 140,000 vehicles a day gets seemingly nonstop media coverage.
Really unfortunate seeing the Toronto subway falling apart like this, with massive speed reductions impacting 100s of thousands a day. But, these problems and the lack of action and open engagement to address them are ultimately reflective of the priorities of our leaders.
