Let’s face it , few in authority really care or understand the impact of terrorism. We, that is , those who were impacted by it during “The Troubles” know all about it and we know how, as we get older the trauma and impact gets worse. However we needn’t look towards the courts , or even “legacy” or “the victims payment “ because we have to relive everything and then wait years (especially in the former) for any kind of decision. In the meantime, we see senior SF figures being awarded “compensation “ from the UK government in the 100’s of thousands.
If we speak out publicly, we get abused to silence our voices.
Victims organisations are trying to get a bereavement payment, for victims but why are government so quiet?
