Pesterchum, as it exists, is brutally unmaintainable. the source code dates back ~13 years, and has become impossible to scale.
as such, i'm seeking to rewrite it from the ground up.
Pesterchum Rewritten is now looking for contributors.

slowly putting together a file structure to make everything much more modular and maintainable, coming along rather well!
the #1 problem with #pesterchum atm is the fact that everything is in one directory, arbitrarily spread across files with little to no coherence

it's worth noting that this has only been in the codebase for ~4 years, so not a *lot* of time compared to the rest, but like. xd

pesterchum has some built-in logic to handle the possibility of users running the program directly from the .zip file, but i don't believe it's ever worked since we still get a lot of complaints about "app brokey" caused by exactly that
which means this gaffe was never caught :p
