Told my year 12 #geography class about the time I hitchhiked from #Devon to Italy with a mate to get a pizza. They didn’t believe me until I messaged him and he replied to confirm. Impressed that he replied as it was 5am in Tennessee!

A Level #geography statistics lessons don’t need a great deal of livening up, however I found teaching the Mann-Whitney U test backed up by songs by Whitney Houston added to the fun. #teacher

That a UN presence existed at all in Rwanda during the genocide of the Tutsi was thanks to the President of Ghana, Jerry Rawlings. As others quickly withdrew contingents in April 1994 he refused this shameful route. The residual UNAMIR comprised overwhelmingly Ghanaian troops.

Visor production has finished. Overall, 10,520 visors were made and have been used in 4 different hospitals, doctors’ surgeries, care homes, Children’s Community Nurses, ambulance crews and our own First Aid team. We have been delighted to support the work of the NHS in this way.
