Here's the basic shift we need to make in the simplest way I can say it. Instead of asking: "What am I going to teach today?" Ask this. "How will I design class to produce evidence of learning?" That's how we start to change Tier 1 instruction. Learning is the job.

For those leaders that have started at a new school I highly recommend having one-on-one conversations with each and every staff member! Today I finished number 88 and I have learned so much that will help guide my transition! It takes time, but it’s worth it!
