We are not 'early'... we are SO late. It's just nostalgia not allowing you to realize that the future happened years ago.

At 1900 meters, with the fog still deciding whether to let us through. We got up here by cable car, and from there, on foot. The path opened up between loose rock and that wall of stone that seemed to be watching over the whole valley, while the clouds came down to try their luck against the summit. My second week of vacation has been a disaster. Still, I think the real mistake is letting other people make me doubt the things I’m excited about.

A while back @openshutter21 gave me a real boost by introducing my work to his followers, and it meant a lot at a time when I needed it. If you’re not following him yet, do yourself a favor and check out his photography. Talent like this deserves to be seen.

Today the body asked for a closer look, and I had no say in it. A hospital room, a test, the same fluorescent quiet I know too well. I’m not afraid of this… I’m just tired of how often it shows up uninvited. Still here. Still breathing. Still mine.
