The 19 Year Old Paying Clippers $2 Million A Month Sat down with the CEO of @contentrewards @danvsI and talked about the future of clipping & UGC It's pretty crazy what happens when you post 1 million clips per month...

the most FOOLPROOF way to stay relevant as a service provider is by being a generalist you don't need to learn EVERYTHING at once but having some basic knowledge about different skills related to your service can open a wide variety of opportunities for you the time for specialization can come AFTER you've gotten your foot through the door of said opportunities you're robbing yourself of projects that could change the forseeable future of whatever service it is that you provide by not being a generalist

It is nowhere near enough to be a specialist in 2026 You cannot just be a “video editor”,“thumbnail designer” or a “copywriter” You need to be able to - Vibe code - Edit a video - Edit an image - Setup a funnel - Write above average copy - & much more Stop hiring specialists and start hiring generalists Sooner or later the specialists always hit (expensive) bottlenecks

i am amazed every time i look at what some of the people on the internet are able to create it tingles my brain in ways i cannot describe, creatives these days truly do not get the recognition they deserve

idk how i haven't seen anyone talk abt this as a creative, the easiest way to kill that resistance before starting a project is by starting from the section you can already SEE in your head doesn't have to be the intro doesn't have to be chronological just the part you KNOW you can bring to life almost instantly once that first scene is done your brain starts using it as a reference point for the rest of the project been doing this for months now and haven't struggled a day w productivity since

the reason being that it forces you to make actual decisions which clips, which dialogue, which emotion, all while trying to do the source material justice that pressure, paired with infinite creative freedom is what i want u guys to experience

unironically the easiest way to improve ur storytelling as an editor is by making high effort tiktok style edits of different movies and shows

the reason every launch video is starting to look the same is because instead of putting more effort into ideating they're all just trying to make the exact same f*cking video

I really like how we're actually going back to appreciating creativity and taste when it comes to editing and video all roads lead back to making things for fun you will never ever beat someone who actually enjoys making videos worth seeing

usually companies are under the impression that they can find someone who just 'gets it' but more often than not, u need to invest both time and money into a creative for them to reach a level where they just 'get it' graduates on the other hand, severely underestimate the skill required to be seen as someone worth investing into
I find it so interesting how companies can’t seem to find the talent they need and graduates can’t find a job.
