They leave for better opportunities, safer communities and a higher quality of life. Nobody asks them why they didn’t stay and fix South Africa first. So your questions are foolish. People move because they believe they can build a better life elsewhere. South Africans do it. Ghanaians do it. Americans do it. Brits do it. Nigerians do it. Everyone does it. Wanting immigration laws enforced is a legitimate call but chasing people through the streets and beating them up because they’re foreigners is animalistic. No human being with a working brain will do that. So, are you a human being with a working brain?

If we’re talking about real people in the Ghana music scene, the only person I can point to is Stonebwoy. He doesn’t pretend to like his opps, doesn’t do convenient friendships, and says it as it is. Stonebwoy has consistently said he and Sark aren’t friends and he has no friends in the Ghana music industry except maybe Mugeez. He said every other person is a colleague. He stood in the presence of our president and told him he and Shatta can never be friends. He went back on radio to double down, telling the entire country he has not forgiven him and is still pained by Shatta’s past behavior. Shatta, on the other hand, has gone on TikTok, radio, YouTube, TV, and every other media outlet to spin a narrative that he’s cool with Stonebwoy. How many times have we not seen Shatta try to get Stonebwoy to do business out of convenience? Even the devil hates that! If Stonebwoy doesn’t like you, you will know. If that’s not real, I don’t know what is.
