There’s this weird phenomenon where every new generation seems to think they were the first generation to get real freaky with it but it’s just not true. We’ve always been freaks, it’s just part of our nature ig

Letterboxd one liners are such a non issue. Reviews are still all over that app. It doesn’t take any work at all to find them. I’ve written one liners, I’ve written reviews, I’ve written jumbled up incoherent thoughts. It’s whatever you want to put there.

Oh great, you've thought of a sentence that uses every letter of the alphabet. Too bad it perpetuates harmful stereotypes about dogs and foxes. I hope it was worth it

This is so true for everyone except for me of course because I am perfect and I have a proper gauge on everything
It's interesting how the deeper you get sucked into a hobby the more blurred your perception becomes of what an outsider's perception of your hobby is like, not just with anime, fighting games are also a good example for this, we forget that the average person doesn't know how-

I've been wanting to say this for a long time. Release years should be the year your movie gets released to the public, not the year you showed a handful of people your unreleased film at a festival
Hey @letterboxd, OBSESSION is a 2026 movie. Nobody cares about festival release dates!

people are being very weird about obsession. it’s a movie made by sketch comedians that literally opens on a classic comedy gag. there are plenty explicit gags and jokes throughout the entire screenplay. the movie is both funny and sad. that’s okay! that’s what life is!
Hearing people laugh at any point in this movie genuinely pissed me off. Like what is so funny?!?!

Alright this was hilarious but let’s not pretend like it’s the only funny moment in the film lmao. Why is everyone so afraid of something being both horrifying and comedic? It’s okay for something to be more than one thing guys.
the only genuinely funny moment I remember off top is “dude come outside I really got a billion dollars!!”
