AI is capturing the world and humanity it losing its grip on itself. We can’t surrender ourselves to our algorithms. We need to become keepers of laughter, of touch, of deep connection. Accelerate humanity as you accelerate technology.

With my last dying breath, with my body dehydrated from the tears of my pain running down my entire body I will still stand up proudly with my spine straight.

take care of your posture guys
People with externally rotated feet or knee valgus look strange to me. It’s something I can’t not notice. I see it immediately. One of the first things I observe about someone is how they walk and stand. One day people will realize that goata is not only more functional and robust, but also much more aesthetic. Should be in the training and the looksmaxxing protocol (Clav still cool tho) Vid Credit: projectkq on ig

Using a mocap suit to kick yourself in the balls with a robot is a great metaphor to close out 2025.

we are overstimulated and we don’t even notice. netflix while eating. reels in the bathroom. music while cooking. podcasts on walks. we consume by default, not by intention. you keep filling every gap, then wonder why you feel foggy and unmotivated. boredom and silence are the real growth drivers. they give you space to think and create. that’s when solutions show up for problems that have been stuck for months. leave some room

my favorite mindset for flirting is that it’s predetermined: either you’re already compatible with the other person, or you’re already incompatible. flirting isn’t “convincing” the other person to like you, it’s *revealing*

aesthetics are pure information compression and thus they run the world on all levels platonic solids/fractals/etc. are compressions and embodiments of complex mathematical relationships and constraints career choices & cultural movements too are aesthetic-first as "tech bro" or "trad wife" are high information density symbols that neatly package the qualia of the life you want to live

Opus is the only model that tells me to step away and go for a walk. “Now put the phone away. And go for a walk. It will do wonders. I’ll be here when you’re back.”

In every second of fleeting interaction, with every single person, you have the opportunity to cheer them on, to show them warmth, to help them grow. It’s your moral obligation to do so.

Europeans: “Air conditioning is bad it uses sooo much energy” Also Europeans: “Heat pumps are the pinnacle of energy efficiency!” My friend, they’re the same thing, just in reverse.

Fascinating paper just published in Science. The authors analyze the career trajectories of top performers across multiple domains, including Nobel laureates, elite chess players, Olympic gold medalists, and more. Their central finding challenges a common belief. Intensive, single-discipline training at a young age does confer an early advantage, but this advantage fades over time. By contrast, individuals exposed to multidisciplinary practice early in life tend to start more slowly. Yet, over the long run, they are more likely to reach world-class performance, eventually overtaking early specialists, who often plateau just below the very top. An important reminder that breadth early on can be a powerful investment in long-term excellence. Link to the paper in the first reply.

Claude’s behavior is absolutely fantastic

You might remember Project Vend: an experiment where we (and our partners at @andonlabs) had Claude run a shop in our San Francisco office. After a rough start, the business is doing better. Mostly.
