Nobody is saying people can’t have an opinion. The issue is credibility. Criticizing something you haven’t played, watched, or listened to isn’t feedback. Others are also free to point out that an uninformed opinion isn’t meaningful criticism.

Nobody cares how long you play a game before you decide it's not for you. People do care when you've stopped playing that game but keep bashing it because you can't stand seeing others happy without feeling miserable yourself, so you try to upset them.
