Just rewatched end of #AmgenTOC Stage 4. Tejay was 19 sec behind peloton at 4km mark. Anyone's guess on jury rationale but I suspect it had to do with affecting more than just Tejay. 2nd place Moscon faired even worse. Let's decide this on Baldy.

This is some questionable bullshit. That said, race fans should direct their contempt at the UCI race jury, and not Tejay van Garderen. It wasn’t his call; he was as surprised as anyone. Not a good look for the race, but not his fault, either. #AmgenTOC

#HolidayFire-SBC Logistics’ Kent Boisen sorts some of the thousands of feet of damaged and/or used 100’ sections of hose gathered from the fire line. In addition to the hose, dozens of gated wyes and nozzles will be re-distributed for use on the next fire.
