I’m still fired up from these guys’ performance yesterday! 🇦🇺🇦🇺 We were the underdogs, and this group of guys put on a clinic. So proud of the effort and determination they showed. It’s always great to see Australians performing at the highest level on the world stage. Can’t wait for the next match against the United States Men’s National Soccer Team. Let’s rip in.

Michael Chammas on building a sustainable team in Papua New Guinea, Michael Chammas is the general manager of rugby league’s newest expansion team, the PNG Chiefs, in what could be the NRL’s most ambitious venture ever. The former Sydney Morning Herald journalist traded his media career for the challenge of building Papua New Guinea’s first NRL club from the ground up. Chammas reveals the complex recruitment strategies needed to convince players to relocate their families to PNG, the cultural significance of rugby league to the Pacific nation, and why the tax-free incentives are essential for success. He discusses his transition from breaking stories to making them, the logistical challenges of establishing pathways in a country with 850 languages and 1,000 tribes, and why this team represents more than just rugby league.

Elon just created 4,400 millionaires in a single day. 400 of them are now worth over $100 million. These aren't VCs. They're SpaceX employees, and the list includes welders, technicians, and cafeteria staff, because for two decades the company paid every level of the workforce in stock instead of higher salaries. Juan Hernandez immigrated from Mexico and took a $28 an hour contractor welding job in 2015. He says he didn't even know what SpaceX was. The company gave him a $10,000 equity grant and let him buy more shares through payroll deductions. That stake is now worth $880,000. Trevor Hise's parents wanted him to take a stable job at General Electric. He picked SpaceX instead, stayed 12 years, and accumulated over 100,000 shares. At the $135 listing price that's $13.5 million. He's 37 and semiretired. His words: "The magnitude of this has been ridiculous." The most telling detail came before the listing. Over 100 employees quietly banded together and negotiated a group wealth management deal covering up to $5 billion, because none of them had ever needed a wealth manager before. Software IPOs have minted millionaires for 30 years. This is the first one where the money went to the factory floor.

NRL Legend, Cooper Cronk, knows what pressure feels like, and this is how he handles it. Cooper Cronk is one of rugby league’s most cerebral players and a four-time premiership winner who transformed from a modest rugby union schoolboy into one of the game’s greatest halfbacks. In this conversation, Cronk reveals the mental frameworks that drove his success, from Craig Bellamy’s obsession with fundamentals at Melbourne Storm to his legendary 2018 grand final performance with a broken scapula. He discusses the coffee test that Bellamy uses for recruitment, how the spine positions require high football IQ, and why great players have time others don’t. Cronk also opens up about his worst career moment in the 2016 grand final and how it taught him the lesson that secured his next three premierships.

Now he's taking his "bogan funk" sound to America. This episode dives deep into the business of music, from building a seven-person creative team to mastering social media without losing authenticity. Liam breaks down how Play Lunch cracked the code on modern music marketing, built a devoted fanbase through deliberately imperfect branding, and turned merchandise into their financial lifeline. I spent the last year interviewing some of the world's leading longevity experts for Project 100. My 3 biggest takeaways If you can't measure it, you can't manage it. Get a baseline and know where you're starting. Sleep, exercise, nutrition. Get these three things right, and that will bring you more benefits than any single supplement you see on Instagram. Build habits. We are playing the long game here. The key to longevity is consistency. Search for Project 100 with Mark Bouris wherever you get your podcasts.

Why Naomi Simson is fearful that people don't feel like it's worth having a crack anymore. Simson is the founder of Red Balloon and co-founder of the Big Red Group. In this conversation, Naomi breaks down how she built a business that now delivers an experience every 16 seconds to small businesses across Australia and New Zealand. Simson also delivers her unfiltered assessment of the recent federal budget, arguing that too many changes implemented too quickly will cripple business confidence during an already challenging period of technological disruption. The reality of the government's impact on first-home buyers. @leithvo is one of Australia’s most credible economists and a straight-talking critic of government policy. In this episode, we dissect the Albanese government’s latest budget and its real impact on inflation, housing affordability, and living standards. Leith explains why this isn’t tax reform but simply a tax grab, how immigration policy is driving the housing crisis, and why Australia’s productivity growth ranks among the worst in the OECD. We explore the disconnect between headline GDP figures and per capita reality, the expansion of the government-funded sector, and what this means for future generations.
